  Annual Craft Sale
Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Maple Lake Elementary Gymnasium
A selection of quality items will be offered by area crafters at the Annual Craft Sale. For more information contact coordinators Betty or Dawn Gordon at 320-963-5351.

 Irish Scamper
Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
The Scamper is hosted by the Irish track & field team and will feature a 5K, winding through the "old town" of Maple Lake.
The 5K run will begin at 11:00 a.m. Race day registration is at 9:00 a.m. in the Maple Lake High School Commons Area and an awards ceremony is set for shortly after the race in the high school commons area.

 Grande Day Parade
Saturday, March 14, 2009; Downtown Maple Lake

   The Grande Day Parade is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. near the St. Timothy's Catholic Church parking lot on Division Street. Parade lineup will begin at 1:30 p.m., and registration can be made by calling the Messenger at (320) 963-3813. See the direct link below to the parade sign up form.

  Coronation of the new Miss Maple Lake
Saturday, March 14, 2009; Maple Lake High School Gymnasium

 

 The coronation of the new Miss Maple Lake will take  place at 4:30 p.m. with ten candidates competing for the title. Candidates are: Brittany Andersen, Lindsey Becker, Carrie Blake, Kelsey Clark, Deanna Lamont, Andrea Rachel, Ashley Remer, Molly Schaufler, Shanna Weber, Brittany Wurm. Admission for the coronation is $3 and parade awards will also be presented during the program.

 

 During the Day

 

 

 During the day, the Maple Lake Lions' Club will serve Mulligan Stew and other refreshments at the American Legion Club. In addition, other civic organizations, restaurants and businesses will be offering St. Patrick's Day specials.
